3 day game viewing safari with game drives in Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game reserve and boat cruise at the St Lucia wetlands world heritage site.

Itinerary

Day One
Arriving at the reserve we start our game drive to catch
a glimpse of the animals returning to their dens for the
day. The Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Park is one of
the oldest proclaimed reserves in Africa. Guests can
expect to see the African Plains Elephant, White and
Black Rhinoceros, giraffe and many species of Antelope.
Lunch is enjoyed at one of the scenic picnic sites in the
park.

Day Two
At the coastline of St Lucia we head for a walk and a
boat cruise to view crocodile and hippopotamus. The
walk through the sand forest areas and ends at the beach.
The bird life is abundant and St Lucia is a recognized
world heritage park with the second highest sandunes in
the world encompassing five ecosystems. After lunch
we visit a craft centre and the Cheetah and Serval
project centre for feeding time and an educational
discussion.

Day Three
Time to catch up with all the animals that have not yet
been seen using your newly acquired game tracking
skills and following territorial routes. Leaving the park
we return to Durban arriving at 7:00pm.
